Music Programs
Welcome to the Harrison Music Department!
The Music Department at the Harrison School for the Arts provides music students with the opportunity to develop their talent in an academic and artistic environment. We pledge an uncompromising commitment to quality music instruction and music performance while encouraging self-discipline and dedication to the success of the individual as well as the department.
The music departments (Choral Music, Guitar, Jazz, Piano, and Symphony Orchestra) offer a wide variety of opportunities for students to develop their musical talent, including ensembles, solos, and large group performances. Music history, theory, keyboard skills, and ear-training are studied to develop a broad musical background. Students receive individualized instruction in their area of specialty.

Performance Opportunities
Students have a wide variety of performance opportunities in large ensembles, small ensembles and individual settings. Students may perform with the Harrison Singers, Encore Singers, Satin Dolls, Triple Trio, Chamber Singers, Harrison Symphony, Chamber Strings, Chamber Winds, Jazz Band, or within the Piano Department.
