Fine Arts Series

The box office will open one hour and thirty minutes prior to curtain on the dates of the performances. The house will open approximately thirty minutes prior to curtain. If you purchase tickets at the box office, only cash and checks are accepted. Credit cards are only accepted on-line and not accepted at the box office. The box office does not accept cash denominations of $50 or more due to county policy. Harrison performance start promptly at 7:30 p.m. for evening performances and 2:00 p.m. for matinees regardless of a line at the box office window. If you wish to purchase tickets the day of the performance, please plan on arriving no later than 7:00 p.m. for evening performances and 1:30 p.m. for matinees in order to park, get tickets, and see the entire performance.

Visual Arts Curriculum

Welcome to the Harrison Visual Arts Department!
Offering a broad based fine arts curriculum in creative, individualized instruction, students participate in courses designed to provide students with a variety of art forms. Upper level instruction includes courses in Advanced Placement with an emphasis on preparation for a post-secondary portfolio.

Supplies
All students at each grade level should have a small / medium size tool or tackle box containing the following:
• 12' metal ruler
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Pencil sharpener
• Roll of masking tape
• #2  pencil
• Plastic eraser
• Ballpoint pens (blue and black)
• Black sharpie markers (fine and broad tip)
• Retractable box cutter/utility knife
• Dishwashing gloves
• Small hot glue gun
• Watercolor set with brush
• We request that all students donate two rolls of paper towels to the department as well as one package of 8 ½ x 11 inch white copy paper

REQUIRED MATERIALS FOR ALL STUDENTS
• A digital camera with a minimum of 4G memory card
• An 8G flash drive for saving images of work to use ONLY for art classes

• Senior............$40.00
PLEASE! Students need to pay supply fees as soon as possible. Checks should be made payable to Harrison School for the Arts.

DONATIONS NEEDED:
We need your old magazines. We also need glass jars, plastic containers, metal cans which can be used in the classroom as water containers for painting, newspapers, facial tissues, sponge, Styrofoam egg cartons and cotton rags.
