Orientation for the 2019-20 school year will be held on Thursday, August 8. Returning students (10-12 grades) can visit the schools (LHS and Harrison) from 9-10:30 a.m. while new students have their orientation set for 5-6:30 p.m. at LHS and then over at Harrison beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Polk County Public Schools will NOT be imposing a districtwide ban on backpacks and lunchboxes, and will NOT require clear backpacks or lunchboxes for the 2019-20 school year. There is also no ban on these items at Harrison/Lakeland.
Parents, please find information concerning the requisite back-to-school forms below. Please note there are three classifications of forms:
1) Required forms (must be returned to Harrison);
2) Info Forms (forms that may need to be returned);
3) Print-Only forms (forms that cannot be delivered electronically).
You will find that some of the forms can be filled in electronically via Adobe Reader while others will have to be printed and filled out by hand.
ALL REQUIRED FORMS SHOULD BE PRINTED OUT AND RETURNED TO YOUR DEPARTMENT TEACHER.

Free/Reduced Lunch: As part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) funded by the United States Department of Agriculture, ALL students at Lakeland Senior/Harrison Arts will be provided with FREE breakfast and lunch each day.
