Community Service Reporting - Updated February 2024

Community Service Reporting is now being done on district approved forms that are available in the Harrison Office. Before beginning community service hours, students must fill out a Community Service Plan and have it approved. After this has been approved, students will log their hours on the provided log. When a log sheet is full, make a copy of it for your records and turn in the original to the office. It is the student's responsibility to maintain copies of their log sheet in case of discrepancies - copies will not be made in the office.

PCPS Community Service Guidelines

  • All high school students are eligible to participate in this program.
  • Community Service Plan must be approved before service hours will be accepted. 
  • Students must perform volunteer services on their own time and may not perform such service during a regular class period or regular school day.
  • Hours are not to exceed 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
  • Hours performed overnight at camps or other events are not accepted.
  • Students may not receive academic credit or be paid for services rendered.
  • 2023-2024 Reporting Deadlines:
    • Quarter 1 - October 20, Summer Hours 2023
    • Quarter 2 - December 11, All Semester 1
    • Quarter 3 - March 2
    • Awards Ceremony Deadline - April 11
    • Seniors Transcript Deadline - May 3
    • Underclass Quarter 4 - May 24
