Community Service Reporting - Updated May 2023

Community Service Reporting is now being done on district approved forms that are available in the Harrison Office. Before beginning community service hours, students must fill out a Community Service Plan and have it approved. After this has been approved, students will log their hours on the provided log. When a log sheet is full, make a copy of it for your records and turn in the original to the office. It is the student's responsibility to maintain copies of their log sheet in case of discrepancies - copies will not be made in the office.

Guidelines

  • All high school students are eligible to participate in this program.

  • Community Service Plan must be approved before service hours will be accepted.

  • All paperwork must be turned in before April 1 to be calculated for the year. This includes seniors needing credit for scholarship eligibility.

  • Students must perform volunteer services on their own time and may not perform such service during a regular class period or regular school day.

  • Students may not receive academic credit or be paid for services rendered.

If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Kayla Nixon, our Community Service Coordinator.
